SOCCER: Nigeria striker Ibrahim joins Austria Vienna on loan
Nigeria International key Player Alhassan Ibrahim has been tansferred to Austra Vienna on a long season loan. The transfer was made from FC Heart Academy to the 24 time Austrian champions.
Alhassan Ibrahim has played for NPFL Nigeria Professional Football League and Akwa United.
According to the 20 years old Player;
“I’m just delighted to join Austria Vienna,” Alhassan told the club’s official website.“
“I cannot wait to get to know the team and work hard together to achieve even more success here,” he added.
Franz Wohlfahrt (Austria Vienna’s sporting director) is convinced that the just signed a talented forward in Nigeria.

According to Austria Vienna’s sporting director,
“Ibrahim is a player with great potential. He is a team player who has speed and is blessed with incredible skills on the ball.
“We are convinced that this signing is one with a great prospect,” said Wohlfahrt.
Ibrahim has previously been on trials with Kalmar in Sweden, Croatian side HNK Rejika, Manchester City and with Belgian club Westerlo.
Ibrahim who’s known to follow the style of Nigeria Legend “Kanu Nwankwo” scored 12 solid goals this season. He was on loan from Heart Academy to Akwa United In NPFL. He’s also a winner of Under 17 (u-17) and U-20 continental titles with Nigeria.
Ibrahim took his chances and made his senior debut for the Super Eagles against Togo friendly match in June. Super Eagles won 3-0 against Togo.
